Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Engineer for large-scale commercial construction projects in the Oklahoma City area. This role focuses on documentation, risk management, and coordination to keep projects on schedule and compliant with Christman standards.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, client, and architect to manage submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and close-out activities, while ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum one year of construction industry experience.
• Previous internships in construction management or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and organize project documents per Christman standards.
• Prepare close-out, turnover, and archiving documents.
• Plan and process subcontract close-out and punch-list contents.
• Summarize discussions from project meetings and prepare logs.
• Update drawings and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Support safety planning and daily reports.
