Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX region. You will coordinate with owners, architects, and trades, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risk, and drive the CM bid and planning processes from pre-bid to project closeout.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and at least five years of leadership experience in commercial construction, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of commercial construction leadership experience.
• Training or coursework in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors about risk, timetables, costs, and change management.
• Define scope of work and deliverables for projects.
• Determine staffing requirements and set schedules for each phase.
• Prepare bid packages and manage the CM bid process including post-bid reviews.
• Coordinate development of planning services (estimating, scheduling, VE, reporting).
• Lead subcontractor relations and ensure defined work quality and safety standards.
