Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Manager for large-scale commercial construction projects in the Raleigh region. You will lead a construction project team, interfacing with owners, architects, and subcontractors to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk from bidding through project closeout.

Qualified candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering and at least five years of leadership experience in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of commercial construction leadership experience.
• Training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs, and change management.
• Define scope of work and deliverables for each project.
• Plan staffing requirements and create schedules for each project phase.
• Prepare bid packages and manage the CM bid process including post bid reviews.
• Lead trades relations and ensure alignment with project goals and safety standards.
• Coordinate project planning services (estimating, scheduling, VE, reporting) with Project Planning Leader.
• Oversee document processing related to contracts, bulletins, and change orders.
