Kauai Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from award through closeout on Kauai.

The role suits a construction professional who owns projects, drives safety and quality, and keeps schedules and budgets on track. Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and look-ahead scheduling while coordinating with the Installations Manager and GC teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned commercial mechanical projects from contract award through final closeout.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders; coordinate with GC and Owner.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and look ahead 2–4 weeks.
• Monitor project financials, labor vs. budget, and cost control.
• Lead project buyout, vendor selection, and subcontractor management.
• Prepare monthly progress billings and owner coordination meetings.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on each project.
