Job summary

Kauai Mechanical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC construction projects from award through closeout on Kauai. You will own safety, schedule, cost, and quality, coordinating with the Installations Department and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a proactive approach to change management, budgeting, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years mechanical construction PM experience is preferred.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing construction projects on new, TI, or retrofit work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and control drawings.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, budgeting, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned commercial mechanical projects from contract award through final closeout.
• Lead safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction on each project.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and AIA billing; track approvals and keep schedules on track.
