Job summary

Kauai Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from award through closeout on Kauai. You will own safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction, coordinating with the Installations Department Manager and field teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical PM experience, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and proven leadership. This on-site role offers growth and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and control drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned commercial mechanical projects from award through final closeout.
• Review contracts and documents; identify scope, exclusions, allowances and risk.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and approvals with Engineer of Record, GC, and Owner.
• Own change management; price and negotiate change orders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; look ahead 2–4 weeks and coordinate with trades.
