Job summary

Kauai Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from award through closeout. You will own safety, schedule, budget, and quality, coordinating with GC, Owner, and design teams to keep projects moving.

This role demands a proven track record in HVAC/industrial projects, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will manage submittals, RFIs, changes, and closeout documentation while ensuring site safety and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with project financials, budgets, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned commercial mechanical projects from award through final closeout.
• Review contracts and documents; identify scope, exclusions, and risk items.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders; track approvals and impacts on schedule.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with GCs and Owners.
• Coordinate permits, inspections, and site logistics; ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with project closeout, as-built documentation, and final billings.
