Qualifications

• Proven PM experience in commercial/general contracting.
• Strong federal/government construction experience.

• Solid grasp of project financials, scheduling, contracts and change management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to travel to East Coast jobsites.
• Military/government project experience desirable.

Senior or Project Manager – General Contracting

Location: Dumfries, VA

A growing General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team, supporting a range of federal and government construction projects across the East Coast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in federal contracting who is comfortable managing complex projects and travelling to jobsites as required.

$500k to $50m - reno and ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, change orders and procurement.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks and commercial issues.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, government and project-specific requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial/general contracting.
• Strong federal or government construction experience is required.
• Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts and change management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites across the East Coast when required.
• Military, federal or government project experience is highly desirable.
