Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Mid Level Project Manager in Illinois to oversee federal construction projects from award through closeout. You will lead scheduling, budgeting, and procurement while coordinating with owners, design teams, and field personnel.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in construction and a solid understanding of federal procurement and reporting obligations. A proactive leader will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
  • Experience managing federal, military, institutional, healthcare, or public-sector projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement and construction processes.
  • Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, DoD, or similar government agencies is highly desirable.
  • Strong scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support quality control, safety initiatives, and project closeout processes.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.

The Project Manager will be responsible for all project-related financial, contractual, operational, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate understands the unique requirements associated with federal contracting and has a proven track record delivering successful construction projects.
