Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5+ years in underwriting, credit, or portfolio management in Project Finance and finance modeling proficiency.
• Knowledge of US power and energy markets and renewable energy project finance is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite credit transactions for the assigned portfolio and new clients.
• Recommend capital structure and monitor data for credit decisions.
• Review financial statements, projection models, cash flow models, and other data for credit decisions.
• Prepare underwriting analyses for Credit Officer and ensure asset quality.
• Negotiate documentation reflecting rates, terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with deal teams for syndicated credits and client pitches.
• Support Relationship Managers with marketing materials and client presentations.
• Identify potential problem accounts and mitigate risk.
• Mentor junior professionals.
