Huntington Bank's Project Finance & Infrastructure (PFI) team is seeking a Sr. Portfolio Manager (Associate Director) to support underwriting, portfolio management and deal execution across energy infrastructure sectors.

This role involves reviewing financial statements, modeling, negotiating credit agreements, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with loan syndication teams. Huntington offers a flexible office environment with competitive compensation and a broad benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting, credit, or portfolio management in Project Finance.
• Competence in Financial Modeling.

Aufgaben

• Underwrites credit transactions for the portfolio and new clients, recommending capital structure.
• Manages approvals for amendments and waivers to credit facilities and monitors portfolio performance.
• Reviews financial statements, projection models, cash flow models and data for credit decisions.
• Prepares thorough credit underwriting identifying industry concerns and trends for the Credit Officer.
• Ensures underwriting decisions reflect strong asset quality and risk/return balance.
• Recommends prudent use of capital and maintains profitability hurdles for the portfolio.
• Obtains and negotiates credit documentation reflecting rates, terms and conditions.
• Acts as a value-added member of deal teams with loan syndication, origination and distribution.
• Supports Relationship Managers with marketing presentations and client needs pitches.
• Identifies potential problem accounts and works to improve Huntington's position.
• Mentors junior professionals.
