Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to join our expanding Department of Energy design team. This role can sit anywhere within the continental U.S.

You will work with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technicians on environmental assessment, remediation, and deactivation projects. You will lead remedial system design, develop design drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in applicable engineering fields.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead remedial system design and assessments with project managers and senior staff.
• Develop detailed design drawings (process-mechanical, P&IDs), specs, and calculations.
• Oversee field activities, startup of systems, and contractor supervision.
• Travel up to 25% for site activities and client engagement.
