Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to support delivery of a major transportation project. You will work with project leadership on controls, cost tracking, and documentation across large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, strong contracts knowledge, and experience with electrical infrastructure or rail-related scopes. This is a full-time opportunity with relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specs, and project documentation.
• Experience with cost tracking, change management, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze labor costs, quantities, production, and project performance.
• Strong understanding of project controls and contract administration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in execution of large transportation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Track and process Change Proposals, Change Orders, and Owner Pay Applications.
• Assist with changes in scope and documentation for compensation/schedule impacts.
• Monitor costs and maintain accurate cost and production reports.
• Assist leadership with cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with field operations to verify quantities and work completion.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and other technical documentation.
