Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a technically strong Senior Project Engineer in Los Angeles to lead cost control, project administration, and coordination across field operations and project management on a major transportation infrastructure program.

The role emphasizes contracts, changes, documentation, and proactive issue resolution, with exposure to electrical infrastructure and transit systems. This is a full-time position with relocation support for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction industry experience and experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Experience with project cost tracking, change management, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze labor costs, quantities, production, and project performance.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the execution of large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, and project requirements.
• Track, prepare, review, and process change proposals, change orders, owner payment applications, claims and supporting documentation.
• Assist with identifying changes in project scope and developing supporting documentation for additional compensation or schedule impacts.
• Monitor project costs and maintain accurate cost and production reports.
• Coordinate with field operations to verify installed quantities and completed work.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and other technical documentation.
