Job summary

Granite Construction Company seeks an experienced onsite construction engineer to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage engineering activities for projects varying in size, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.

You will manage controls for contract, budget, and schedule; develop project schedules to ensure timely completion within budget; supervise staff and provide constructability reviews to resolve design conflicts and ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule and costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to deliver on time and under budget.
• Supervise project staff to meet standards and develop team.
• Represent company in client and project meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Provide technical support in construction planning and constructability reviews.
