Granite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer (Heavy Civil Construction) in Tucson, AZ. This full-time role focuses on planning, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for projects of varying size to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Construction management background with 4+ years of related experience, strong MS Office, AGTEK, and Primavera skills, and the ability to lead a multi-discipline team while ensuring safety and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities.
Develop and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines and stay under budget.
Provide technical support in planning, quality control, design interpretation, and constructability reviews.
Represent project in client meetings to ensure clear communication.
Develop and maintain all job reporting and logs to ensure compliance.
Supervise and mentor project staff to meet standards.
