Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an on-site Civil/Construction Engineer to lead planning, development, and coordination of on-site activities. You will manage schedules, costs, and project controls, while providing technical support in planning, quality control, and constructability reviews to ensure successful project completion.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field and have 4+ years of construction experience, with strong MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera Scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Manage project engineering assignments to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion.
