Job summary

Granite Construction Company is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to plan, develop and coordinate onsite engineering activities for varying project sizes. You will manage controls to ensure contract compliance, budget discipline and accurate scheduling.

Responsibilities include project scheduling, technical support in planning and constructability reviews, mentoring staff, and maintaining project reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, or field experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with scheduling and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities.
• Manage controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time completion and budget adherence.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control, and constructability reviews.
• Represent project in meetings and maintain all job reporting and logs.
• Supervise and mentor project staff to meet standards.
