Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a qualified professional to plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for projects of varying size to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, maintaining reports, supervising staff, and providing technical support for planning, constructability reviews, and compliance with contracts. Strong communication and leadership are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.
• Manage project engineering assignments to meet schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control, design interpretation, construction methods, and constructability reviews.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and controlling documents.
• Represent company in client/project management meetings to ensure clear communication.
• Develop and maintain all job reporting and logs for project compliance.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor project staff to meet standards.
