Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including observation and reporting to government personnel in Newport, RI. The role supports development and delivery by implementing government decisions, laws, and policies.

You will oversee QA, contract administration, and coordination with the Designer-of-Record and Construction and Facilities Management. Strong writing, communication, and regulatory compliance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering accredited by ABET.
• Minimum seven years in contract administration or office engineering with construction/engineering design knowledge.
• Experience with federal construction programs (USACE/DoD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities according to policies and regulations.
• Analyze design/construction issues and advise government personnel on compliance.
• Coordinate with DoR/CFM for solutions and approvals.
• Prepare detailed reports, quality plans, and cost/price analyses.
• Support modification scopes of work, draft change orders, and negotiations.
