Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including project observation and reporting to government personnel in Albany, NY, guiding project development by implementing applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

You will oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities, analyze design and construction issues for compliance, prepare daily reports, QA plans, and modification scopes, and coordinate with the COR to keep

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Minimum seven years in contract administration/office engineering
• Experience with USACE/DoD or federal construction programs preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities
• Analyze design and construction issues for contract compliance
• Prepare detailed daily QA reports and cost/price analyses
• Coordinate with DoR/CFM and COR for approvals and modifications
• Prepare change orders and modification scopes of work
• Support negotiations for time extensions and cost changes
• Attend preconstruction and QC coordination meetings
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
