Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer- Fort Devens to provide construction project engineering services, including project observation and reporting to government personnel.

This role supports project development and delivery by implementing government decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies. The position involves coordinating with government and contractor teams, reviewing schedules, submittals, and QA/QC activities, and generating daily reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required with ABET accreditation.
• Experience in contract administration and/or office engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with government contracting or USACE/DoD programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Analyze design and construction issues and provide recommendations to government personnel.
• Coordinate with the Designer-of-Record and CFM to incorporate recommendations.
• Review project schedules and advise on schedule items and contract payments.
• Prepare detailed reports and daily QA/QC surveillance reports.
• Verify site location, layout, elevations, and QC measures before work begins.
• Prepare change orders, cost analyses, and draft modifications for approvals.
• Attend conferences and maintain meeting minutes and agendas.
