Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training with 3–4 years of construction engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to supervise a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the project management plan components and change management process.
• Develops a procurement schedule and integrates it with the project CPM schedule; reviews submittals for contract compliance.
• Manages budgets and cost controls to keep the project within approved limits; demonstrates business acumen for the area.
• Maintains 'As-built' contract documents and compiles close-out requirements including manuals and warranties.
• Participates in concrete form design and takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities as required.
• Plans, develops and supervises project team members to ensure relentless execution of the project.
• Prepares and maintains quantity reporting and meeting minutes; maintains project logs.
• Prepares and reviews change orders, including time extensions, and distributes documents.
• Prevents and mitigates potential claims; quantifies and resolves issues promptly.
