Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to serve as the technical source of information for the project, with thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to questions on drawings, shop drawings, and change orders, while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Mentoring Field Engineers may be included.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and related standards.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to supervise/train Field Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the project management plan components and change management process.
• Develop procurement schedules and integrate with CPM schedule; coordinate submittals and their compliance.
• Understand contracts and budgeting; maintain cost controls and change orders; support project close-out.
