Job summary

Sundt Construction in Sparks, NV is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to serve as the technical source of information for complex projects. You will manage drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The position progresses through three steps; the Senior level requires more than 6 years of experience and involvement on large projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team of disciplines.
• Experience supervising Field Engineers and coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of PMP components and change management processes.
• Develops procurement schedules and integrates with CPM schedules; reviews submittals for contract compliance.
• Administers budgeting and cost control; maintains logs and coordination for change orders.
• Maintains As-built contract documents and close-out requirements (ops manuals, warranties).
• Participates in concrete form design and takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities as required.
• Plans, develops and supervises project team members to ensure relentless execution of the project.
• Prepares and reviews change orders and cost adjustments; maintains change order logs.
