Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to act as the technical information source for the project, with deep knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to questions about drawings, specs, shop drawings, and change orders.

You will maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and may assist in supervising Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and standards.
• 3–4 years of construction engineering experience.
• Strong communication and ability to supervise field engineers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) components and change management process.
• Develops procurement schedule and integrates with CPM schedule; coordinates submittals.
• Understands prime contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, and budgeting to control costs.
