Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to act as the technical information hub for commercial construction projects, with a strong grasp of drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders. You will support Building division projects, including aviation, and mentor junior engineers while progressing through the role’s levels.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring documentation integrity and timely project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards.
• Experience coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to supervise and train field engineers when required.

Aufgaben

• Understand PMP components and change management to ensure project execution.
• Develop procurement schedules and coordinate submittals with trades.
• Manage budgets, cost control and vendor relations within the project budget.
• Maintain As-built documents, close-out requirements and warranties.
• Participate in concrete form design and quantity takeoffs for site work.
• Plan, develop and supervise project team members for relentless execution.
• Prepare cost reports, schedules, and meeting minutes; maintain logs.
• Process change orders and time extensions with appropriate personnel.
• Identify potential claims and work to mitigate effects.
