Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles (MSEN) Engineering organization in East Hartford. You will lead cross-functional engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget while driving risk mitigation and delivering on program outcomes.

You will collaborate with engineering, program management, operations, and supply chain to develop BOEs and prepare Earned Value Management (EVM) reports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience: Aerospace experience and/or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering projects by managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables to achieve program milestones on time and within budget.
• Prepare and present technical and program status updates to CIPT and Pratt & Whitney leadership, communicating progress and risks clearly.
• Lead engineering change execution, risk assessments, investigations, and mitigation planning across the project lifecycle.
• Analyze performance data to identify issues, develop solutions, and optimize efficiency with minimal disruption to operations.
• Travel Requirement: 5% (Domestic).
