Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines and systems, invites a Senior Project Engineer to guide an IPT responsible for part-level ownership from design through field sustainment. You will manage technical execution, risk, and program commitments while coordinating cross-functional teams across integral lifecycle stages.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and metrics, lead engineering changes, support supplier reviews, and assist field investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• 3 years of project management experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IPT for part-level ownership across design, validation, production, and field sustainment.
• Guide technical execution, manage program commitments, and achieve CIPT goals.
• Support IPT activities across design, structural analysis, durability, aero, materials, and manufacturing.
• Drive technical execution and program performance including risk management and issue resolution.
• Plan and manage budgets, schedules, and technical metrics with CIPT.
• Ensure communication, risk closure, and alignment to requirements.
• Coordinate engineering design updates (Class I & II Engineering Changes).
• Oversee supplier and manufacturing reviews, engine build-test-teardown, ACIs, FMRs, MERLIN inquiries, deviation requests.
• Support field investigations and production delivery troubleshooting.
• Travel up to 10% domestically.
