Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to support the MSEN Engineering organization through planning and execution of design tasks, coordination with SME review, and mentoring of team members.

You will lead design subtasks, manage schedules, assess risks, and drive tasks to closure, while collaborating across SIPT, CIPT, and discipline teams. Domestic/international travel is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Execute design subtasks for SME review and provide technical guidance.
• Define schedule, risks, and opportunities for design tasks and drive closure.
• Provide disposition on customer fleet issues with SME review.
• Coordinate with PD on redline updates and ensure timely handoffs.
• Make independent design decisions using hardware knowledge and analysis outputs.
• Contribute to Engineering Knowledge System updates.
• Support engine builds, teardowns, and MRO sites.
• Travel up to 20% (Domestic and International).
