Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, is seeking a CTS engineer to work onsite at East Hartford, CT, interfacing with airline customers, engine overhaul facilities and maintenance teams. You will implement corrective actions for in-service engine events, support teardown/reassembly, coordinate with MDE for publications, and provide data to Airbus and resolve CPRs and QNs.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8 years of related experience (or an advanced degree with 5 years) and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• University degree in STEM with 8 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information for this program.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement corrective action for engine related in-service events and hardware issues identified during overhaul.
• Support MROs to resolve work-stops during teardown and reassembly of engines.
• Support Airlines to resolve AOGs and coordinate resolution of service issues.
• Initiate technical data development for engine/module inspection and maintenance manuals.
