Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional to support site‑based assignments across multiple U.S. locations including Spartanburg, SC; Baton Rouge, LA; and Corpus Christi, TX.

The role focuses on cost control, EVMS, and forecasting, collaborating with construction teams and vendors to maintain accurate project metrics. This senior role requires 15+ years in project controls, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 15 years in project controls with emphasis on cost management and field operations
• Experience with EVMS and familiarity with construction contracts/pay applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for on‑site assignments

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics
• Manage all cost control elements including budget development, scope changes, and expenditure/forecast reporting
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems/tools
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and advise project/control managers
• Review/approve contractor pay apps per contract terms
• Track and report construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data
