Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional to support site-based assignments at Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, Corpus Christi, TX, with potential projects across the U.S. The role emphasizes cost control, forecasting, and earned value management within a collaborative project controls team.

You will work closely with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting through the project lifecycle, travel as needed, and a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls with strong cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay applications.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage all cost control elements: budget development, updates, scope change tracking, expenditure and forecast reporting.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managers.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications per contract terms.
• Track and report construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systems.
