Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional for on-site assignments across Spartanburg, SC; Baton Rouge, LA; Corpus Christi, TX, and other U.S. sites.

You will lead cost control, tracking, and forecasting within a dedicated controls team, coordinating with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate budgeting and progress measurement. Ideal candidates have a strong EVMS background, 15+ years in project controls, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls with focus on cost management and field operations.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage cost control elements: budget development, scope change tracking, expenditure and forecast reporting.
• Maintain data in cost control systems and tools.
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and approve contractor pay applications per contract terms.
• Track and report construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data.
