Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Project Controls Professional to support a site-based assignment in Spartanburg, SC, Baton Rouge, LA, or Corpus Christi, TX, with future on-site work across the U.S. You will lead cost control and construction progress tracking in collaboration with project teams and vendors.

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent), 15+ years in project controls, EVMS experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls with a focus on cost management and field operations
• Familiarity with construction contracts and pay application processes
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metrics
• Manage all cost control elements, including budget development and updates
• Track scope changes and expenditure/forecast reporting
• Maintain accurate data in cost control systems and tools
• Analyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions
• Review and approve contractor pay applications per contract terms
• Track construction progress using Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Coordinate with contractors to collect weekly progress data for project systems
