Job summary

Ghafari Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead design and the production of Construction Documents for large, highly complex projects. You will coordinate multiple disciplines and assume in-house contract administration duties as needed.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, establishing design parameters, and ensuring schedule and budget alignment. Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential, along with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB certificate required.
• LEED and WELL certifications preferred.
• Registered Architect.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, highly complex projects and teams.
• Mentor less experienced staff throughout the project.
• Establish design parameters; select building systems and cost criteria.
• Lead the project work plan and ensure quality Construction Documents.
• Assist in schedule/budget adherence and scope changes.
• Coordinate disciplines and manage in-house contract administration.
• Oversee schematic, design development, and construction documents production.
• Prepare addenda/bulletin release write-ups; respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Maintain and improve office design standards and production tools.
• Familiar with Revit model creation, set-up, and worksets; experience with laser scanning.
