Job summary

Ghafari Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Architect to lead architectural design and production on moderate-size projects. You will supervise the project team, coordinate disciplines, and ensure high-quality Construction Documents.

The role emphasizes Revit proficiency, design development, and in-house construction administration, with mentorship and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB AXP completion preferred.
• Licensing exams in progress preferred.
• LEED Certification preferred.
• WELL Building Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run small to moderate scale projects with some complexity.
• Establish design parameters: code, site, budget, schedule; assist in presenting documents.
• Formulate project work plans and lead execution of tasks.
• Oversee daily activities of the architectural project team and quality of Construction Documents.
• Mentor less experienced staff and promote learning.
• Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with all disciplines and manage information exchange.
• Ensure alignment with company standards and project budget/schedule.
