Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking a Senior Project Architect who will lead in design development, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage construction documents for large, complex projects. The role emphasizes in-house contract administration, quality control, and adherence to Ghafari standards and BIM workflows.

Ideal candidates have 25+ years in architecture, professional licensure (NCARB/registered), and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB certificate required.
• LEED Certification preferred.
• WELL Building Certification preferred.
• Registered Architect.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the production of schematic, design development and construction documents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work efforts and ensure quality control across drawings and specs.
• Mentor and guide project teams, managing large, complex projects and timelines.
• Support in-house contract administration: respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, issue bulletins.
• Ensure alignment with company standards, BIM workflows, and Revit/project setup conventions.
