NELSON is seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to support project financial management, contract administration, billing, and collections across the organization.

The Senior Project Accountant is responsible for managing a high volume of invoicing while working in conjunction with Project Accountants, Finance Leaders and Project Managers to ensure projects are set up appropriately and all invoices sent to the client are accurate and correct.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a high-volume billing environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint and MS Office.
• Ability to mentor Project Accountants and collaborate with PMs.
• Contract administration and collections experience.

Responsabilités

• Mentor and support Project Accountants to ensure accurate project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Issue a high volume of invoices and ensure accuracy before client submission.
• Manage unbilled time and expenses and support collections.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on invoicing, forecasting, and unbilled balances.
• Assist with project reviews and finance initiatives.
