Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Program Director to lead the NYS Thruway team on a strategic government project. The role drives P&L, project performance, and client management, with responsibility for tolling and call center leadership.

This onsite position requires relocation to New York state upon award, with relocation assistance provided. Leaders with state contract experience, large-call-center oversight, and executive presence will thrive as you guide program direction, ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
• Experience leading state tolling contracts.
• Experience leading large call center (~700 agents) and meeting KPIs, SLAs, quality and compliance.
• Must relocate to New York state or currently reside there.
• Experience implementing a State contract for at least 750 people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and state/federal regulations.
• Achieve established goals and objectives aligned with overall project strategies.
• Oversee all project administrative operations including budget, financial controls, and human resources.
• Plan, develop, and schedule priorities to meet operational and performance goals.
• Review management, productivity, and financial reports to ensure program objectives.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with formal responses and strategy.
