Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Program Director to lead our NYS Thruway team. You will direct the strategic direction, P&L, project performance, and client management for a high-stakes state contract.

The role requires executive presence, tolling and call center leadership, and significant state government contract experience. Full onsite work in New York State with relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience leading state tolling contracts and large contact centers.
• Strong strategic leadership and client management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L.
• Ensure contract compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead operational priorities and staffing across the program.
• Manage project governance, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Guide RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with strategic approaches.
