Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Program Director to lead the NYS Thruway tolling project on a full-time, onsite basis in New York. You will drive strategic direction, P&L, and client management for a large tolling and call center operation with relocation support.

The ideal candidate has extensive program leadership experience, state contract expertise, and the ability to meet KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements for a ~700-agent operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
• Experience leading state tolling contracts.
• Experience leading large call centers (~700 agents) with KPIs and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and regulations.
• Plan priorities and schedule to achieve operational goals and milestones.
• Coordinate internal audits, reporting, and staffing across the enterprise.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, and contract-related guidance to ensure strategic direction.
• Drive client management, contract success, and overall project leadership.
