Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst III to lead the development and management of integrated master schedules for large, complex programs. The role emphasizes risk analysis, schedule optimization, and close collaboration with project managers to ensure program objectives and timelines are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules across functions, presenting status to executives, and advancing scheduling best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years in project planning/scheduling; in absence of degree, 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool.
• Ability to drive conversations and ask detailed questions.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Ability to communicate status to completion and raise issues for mitigation.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated master plans and schedules for complex programs.
• Oversee tracking and maintenance of schedules for horizontal/vertical integration.
• Conduct advanced risk analysis to mitigate schedule risks.
• Identify critical path conflicts using Gantt, PERT, milestones, and other techniques.
• Prepare reports/presentations on schedule status to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scheduling data quality.
• Support adoption of advanced scheduling best practices and continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve root causes of schedule variances.
