Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Program Manager to own and execute strategic cross-functional projects for the Same Day ROOT team. You will scope large initiatives, present status to senior leadership, and coordinate across fulfillment operations, inventory, capacity, and technology.

The role demands strong delivery records, data-driven decision making, and executive communication in a fast-paced environment focused on reducing costs while improving customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define a strategic framework for under-the-roof operations, including driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network.
• Thinking creatively about how technology can enable a better cost structure, lower overhead, and better engagement.
• Gathering and analyzing data across business functions to establish global standards for supply chain and product fulfillment.
• Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
• Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
