Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects for our rapid Same Day programs.

You will lead end-to-end initiatives across fulfillment, inventory and delivery, shaping roadmaps, removing cost, and driving innovations under-the-roof processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams, analyze data to set global standards, manage ambiguity, and communicate status to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• 5+ years of supply chain experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

Responsibilities

• Driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to achieve R2L goals
• Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
• Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities
• Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations
• Leveraging analytics to support the future state of the business
