Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Program Manager IV to lead strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives in a fully remote US-based role. You will guide planning, execution, and governance across multi-functional teams, delivering complex programs on schedule and within budget.

You will present executive updates, manage risks, dependencies, and budgets, and coach project managers and analysts. A PMP/PgMP is preferred, with 8+ years of experience in program or project management and healthcare

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• MS Office proficiency and project management tools.
• Healthcare or managed care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large scale, cross functional projects for implementation or process improvement including realignment of team members; manage scope, schedule, and budget and create timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate the work of PMs/BA to oversee multiple workgroups involved in projects.
• Develop meaningful dashboards for exec updates and project status; create reports for analytics post-implementation.
• Create training materials and deliver information to indirect reports and peers; collaborate with training team.
• Prepare and deliver documents for Program Steering Committees; assess risks and escalate as needed to leadership.
• Proactively manage risk, budget/forecast, dependencies; analyze potential opportunities as needed.
• Serve as first escalation point for issues and risks; communicate issues and solutions to leadership.
