Job summary

Leonardo DRS seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in defense programs. You will manage multiple programs, align teams, and drive contract requirements from kickoff through completion.

You will work with Engineering, Production, Planning and Quality to ensure cost, schedule and performance goals are met, mitigate risks, and maintain strong customer advocacy and program governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Background in engineering, finance, supply chain or business preferred.
• Knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
• Experience across the program lifecycle from development to sustainment.
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and metrics reporting.
• Ability to manage aerospace/defense programs as prime or subcontractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs and ensure cost, schedule and performance goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, planning, quality and field service.
• Guide risk assessment and mitigation throughout the life cycle.
• Participate in bid and proposal activities and contract negotiations.
• Represent program management in reviews and external meetings.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget execution and proper documentation.
