Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. in the Naval Electronics business seeks a seasoned Program Manager for full lifecycle leadership of mission systems programs. You’ll direct cost, schedule, and technical performance, drive recovery plans for at-risk programs, and collaborate with customers, BD, marketing and sales to grow the portfolio.

You bring 15+ years in aerospace/defense program management, PMP/DAU L3, EVMS and risk management expertise, plus strong leadership and communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering or business degree; master's preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• PM certification (PMP or DAU L3) preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of program management processes.
• Leadership and communication skills, including influence and conflict resolution.
• Extensive lifecycle experience from development to sustainment, including proposals, SOWs, risk management.
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting; performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Track program cost, schedule and performance across the line of business.
• Report status to management stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Develop recovery plans for yellow and red programs (schedule, technical).
• Ensure adherence to program management directives and methodologies.
• Collaborate with customers for feedback and with BD/marketing to grow the portfolio.
• Lead monthly program reviews and drive continuous improvement.
