Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead defense and intelligence systems projects in the United States. You will steer multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with Engineering Management, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across development, production, and sustainment phases.

Responsibilities include cost, schedule, and performance tracking, risk mitigation, and ongoing communication with customers and stakeholders to drive program success. U.S.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Business.
• Advanced knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
• Leadership and management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution.
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting; metrics for assessing and reporting program progress, productivity and variance analysis.
• Experience in finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily execution of multiple programs within contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met.
• Lead the line of business (LOB) and/or Company (CO) program management function including full life cycle management from development to sustainment.
• Track program cost, schedules and performance against milestones and report status to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for yellow and red programs (schedule, technical performance).
• Ensure overall execution of material on schedule and on budget for a business area.
• Collaborate on tasks with various project teams and manage program methodologies and directives.
