Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex defense programs within LOB. You will coordinate engineering, finance, and supply chain to deliver on time and on budget, while mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include cost, schedule, and performance management, risk mitigation, and customer liaison. A DoD background and PMP/DAU familiarity are highly valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, finance, supply chain or business.
• Advanced knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
• Leadership and management skills, particularly “influence management” and “conflict resolution”.
• Experience through the program lifecycle from development through sustainment including proposal development and risk management.
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting; metrics for progress and variance analysis.
• Experience in finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and supply chain management.
• Program Management certification preferred (i.e. PMP or DAU).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily execution of multiple programs within contract requirements.
• Lead the line of business (LOB) and/or Company (CO) program management across full life cycle.
• Track cost, schedules and performance; report status to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for yellow and red programs.
• Collaborate with customers, business development, marketing and sales.
• Lead monthly program reviews and conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop risk management processes across the program lifecycle.
• Support cash flow management and related planning.
